Two simple fees, no interest, no APR
Our fast cash loans are small amount loans under the National Credit Code, which means the costs are fees - interest isn't permitted on loans of this size, so an APR doesn't apply. There are exactly two fees, both calculated on the amount you borrow:
Fee | How Much | When You Pay It |
|---|---|---|
Establishment Fee | 20% of the amount borrowed | Once, when your loan is set up |
Monthly Fee | 4% of the amount borrowed | At settlement, then on each monthly anniversary |
Interest | $0 | Never - not permitted on small amount loans |
Worked Example | $1,000 over 3 months | $320 in fees (1 × $200 + 3 × $40) - repay $1,320 |
Loan terms run from a minimum of 2 months to a maximum of 12 months, and repayments are set up as automatic direct debits matched to your pay cycle.
One establishment fee plus capped interest
Our personal loans are medium amount loans, and their costs work differently to cash loans:
Fee | How Much | When You Pay It |
|---|---|---|
Establishment Fee | $400 | Once, when your loan is set up |
Interest | Up to 45% per annum (excluding the establishment fee) | Built into your regular repayments |
Worked Example | $2,500 over 13 months | $1,525 in fees & interest - repay $4,025 |
Because the law's Annual Cost Rate (ACR) measure includes the establishment fee, the ACR in the examples below ranges from 44.95% to 46.03% depending on the amount and term - that's the establishment fee showing up in the annual figure, not extra interest. The comparison rate, based on a loan of $2,500 over 24 months, is 34.28%.
Loan terms run from 12 to 20 months, with the same automatic repayments matched to your pay cycle.

Cash loans (up to $2,000) carry two fees, both calculated on the amount you borrow: a one-off 20% establishment fee, and a 4% monthly fee charged at settlement and then on each monthly anniversary. No interest is charged - the National Credit Code doesn't permit interest on small amount loans - so an APR doesn't apply. For example, a $1,000 loan over 3 months costs $320 in fees (1 × $200 + 3 × $40), for a total repayment of $1,320.
Personal loans ($2,100 to $8,000) carry a $400 establishment fee plus interest at a maximum of 45% per annum (excluding the establishment fee). Because the Annual Cost Rate (ACR) includes the establishment fee, the ACR in our published examples ranges from 44.95% to 46.03% depending on the amount and term. Your contract shows the exact fees, rate and total repayments for your loan before you sign.
A comparison rate rolls the interest rate and most fees into a single percentage so you can compare the true cost of loans. For our personal loans, the comparison rate based on a loan of $2,500 over 24 months is 34.28%. A comparison rate applies only to the example given - different amounts and terms will result in different comparison rates.
