Yes, you can apply. We look at what you can afford today, meaning your income and your outgoings, rather than deciding on a credit score alone. Regular Centrelink payments count as income. A past credit problem doesn't automatically rule you out, but approval isn't guaranteed.¹
No, and no responsible lender should. As a responsible lender, we only offer a loan if it's suitable for you, and we won't lend if the repayments would cause you hardship. If we can't help, we'll tell you honestly rather than waste your time. If we do approve your loan, you can ask us for a free copy of our suitability assessment.

Small loans ($200 to $2,000) have no interest - just a one-off 20% establishment fee and a 4% monthly fee. Personal loans ($2,100 to $8,000) cost a $400 establishment fee plus interest at a fixed rate. The online application takes a few minutes and is usually assessed the same day. Once you're approved¹ and have signed your contract, we send the funds by NPP, and most banks receive them within 30 minutes.** If you apply in one of our branches and you're approved,¹ you can leave with cash the same visit.
