1. What is a payday Cash Advance?

A Cash Advance is a short-term loan for a small amount for those who need fast cash instantly before Payday. 

2. How long does it take to approve?

Your Cash Advance may be approved within 20 minutes after you have submitted the application during business hours; Cash Stop will notify you by email once your Cash Advance has been approved.

3. How do I get the money and how soon?

Once your Cash Advance has been approved, funds will be credited into your account within hours.

4. Do I need to fax or email any documents?

The application is paperless. In some circumstances it may be quicker to fax Identity documents, Banking history and or Proof of Income or the lender may need to see them to confirm your details.

5. Can I apply if I'm on Centrelink benefits?

Applicants receiving government benefits excluding Youth Allowance and Newstart are eligible to apply however some faxing of documents may be required.

6. How much can I borrow up to if I'm on Centrelink?

Up to $200*, once you have established a history with Cash Stop, you may apply for an increase.

7. What are the fees and interest rates on a cash advance?

 NSW & ACT residents - Cash Stop is your specialist lender. In general loans provided by Cash Stop cost you $28 per $100 borrowed.

Residents of other States - Cash Stop is a finance broker and therefore may not be the lender for your loan. Depending upon the lender we find for you, you may pay a combination of interest and/or administration fees. In general, loans sourced by Cash Stop cost you around $30 per $100 borrowed, however that fee is reached.

8. Is there an Application fee?

We do not charge an Application fee.

9. When I pay off my Cash Advance, how soon can I receive another one?

It normally takes three (3) business days for payment to clear into the bank; once your final repayment has cleared you can apply for another Cash Advance.

10. Can I pay off my Cash Advance early?

Yes, if the Cash Advance is paid off early, the cost of the Lender's Interest will be reduced; however there may be a small administration fee charged.

11. Can I still get a Cash Advance if I have a poor Credit History?

We will attempt to find you a responsible Lender even if you have a poor Credit History.

12. What information is confirmed with my payroll?

The information requested may include the following:

a) Employment status – full-time, part-time or casual
b) Length of employment
c) Banking details
d) Income
e) Pay schedule
f) Address
g) DOB

13. Why do I need to contact my Payroll?

Due to the Privacy Act, most companies won’t give out an employee’s details without their verbal or written consent.

14. How much can I borrow?

Applicants can borrow up to $2000 based on the responsible lending checks of the lender*

15. Can I cancel my loan?

Yes, you have the right to cancel your loan within 24 hours of signing your Loan Contract providing no funds have been transferred to your nominated Account/Card.

16. Do I need to provide a security?

No, Cash Advances are unsecured.

17. What if I cannot repay on the due date?

If you think you will have insufficient funds in your account, you will need to contact us immediately to make alternative arrangements. You must contact Cash Stop at least two days prior to the direct debit date.

18. How do I repay my Cash Advance?

The instalment repayment method is via Direct Debit from your nominated bank account on your next payday/s.

19. When are you open for business?

We accept online applications 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and if you apply during our business hours; your loan will be approved within minutes with same day funding.

20. Why isn't the Online Application working for me?

Please ensure that you are using Internet Explorer Version 8 or higher or the latest version of Mozilla Firefox.

21. Why am I not able to login?
